Series officials announced today the schedule release for the 2026 racing season. This marks the 14th year of competition for the Southern Super Series. The 15-race schedule will feature stops at eight different tracks in five different states.
The season will kick off with the non-points SpeedFest event at Cordele Motor Speedway (GA). Now run in conjunction with Cordele’s SuperFest, and promoted by Track Enterprises, the Annual SpeedFest event has always kicked off the season for Super Late Model action and will do so once again for 2026, on January 23rd and 24th.
From there, the Southern Super Series will return to the New Smyrna Speedway during the 60th Running of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. The Clyde Hart Memorial 200 will run on Tuesday Night, February 10th, and will also serve as the Season Opener for the ASA STARS National Tour.
200-lap races are the theme for the Spring Time as the Series will return to Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida for the Sunshine State 200 on March 14th. That will again be a combination event with the ASA STARS National Tour and the kick off to the track’s Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series.
April comes with the Series' 19th visit to Stan Narrison’s Montgomery Motor Speedway (AL) for the Annual Rumble By The River 125. The 125-lap event is the lone stop at the challenging half-mile in 2026.
The Series will head to North Carolina for a pair of races in May, first at the Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday Night, May 21st, and then they will head up the road for a return to the Tri-County Motor Speedway in Hudson, NC for a 200-lap event on Saturday Night, May 23rd. Both races will be co-sanctioned events with the ASA STARS National Tour.
Come June, the Series will head back to Five Flags Speedway for a weekend doubleheader at the Pensacola track. Separate events will take place on Friday, June 12th, and Saturday June 13th, making it a 2 for 1 weekend of sorts.
Nashville Fairground Speedway will be the backdrop for the Annual North-South Shootout on July 11th. This 100 Lap battle will headline a race card that will also include the Modified of Mayhem Series.
The heat of summer continues when the Series rolls into Cordele Motor Speedway for the Georgia Summer Nationals. The August 1st event has been on the schedule since 2017 and also serves as a combo with the track’s SuperFest Series. The race also offers the best opportunity to tune up for the World Crown 300 in October.
Next stop, Mobile International Speedway in Irvington, Alabama, returns to the schedule as they get set to host the Battle on the Bayou on September 5th. Last year Mobile produced 10 lead changes among nine drivers over two events, making it one of the most competitive venues on the circuit.
The September 26th race at Five Flags Speedway will be the finale for the Deep South Crane Blizzard Series and the penultimate race for the ASA Southern Super Series Championship, and serves as Round 3 in the Sunshine State Challenge. It will be the last Super Late Model race in Pensacola before the Snowball Derby in December.
The October 24th World Crown 300 returns to the schedule at the Cordele Motor Speedway and for the first time ever it will be the Championship deciding venue for the 2026 season. Cordele will be the fifth different venue to host a championship round in the history of the series.
The year will end with a pair of non-points races, but both are high profile events as once again the ASA Southern Super Series will be a part of the All American 400 at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and the Florida Governor’s Cup 200. Nashville will be on November 8th while the Governor’s Cup will be on November 15th.
