The Georgia Spring Nationals will not take place as scheduled on Saturday, April 1.
With an unfavorable weather forecast on the horizon, the Georgia Spring Nationals at Crisp Motorsports Park has been postponed to a later date.
"With the high threat of wet weather predicted for the Cordele, GA area on Saturday, ASA Southern Super Series Officials have joined in with Crisp Motorsports Park Officials with the decision to postpone the H&H Truck Georgia Spring Nationals until a future date," reads the statement.
“We have some of the best drivers in the nation entered here this weekend,” stated Crisp Motorsports Park General Manager Ben Sumner. “With that said, we want to pull out all the stops in ensuring the competitors, and especially our fans have a good experience. Fighting ill weather on race day just isn’t conducive to that, so we look forward to returning with another great ASA Southern Super Series/Crisp Motorsports Park date in the future."
A makeup date for the Georgia Spring Nationals will be announced at a later time. The ASA Southern Super Series is also scheduled to visit Crisp Motorsports Park on August 19 for the Georgia Summer Nationals.
