On Thursday, event promoters announced the Best Western in Athens, Georgia as the official hotel for the two-day event on May 16-17. As part of the partnership, race teams and fans will receive discounted room rates for the weekend beginning on May 14.

The inaugural Peach State Classic at Gresham Motorsports Park will bring racing back to the facility for the first time since 2014. The main event featuring Super Late Models from the CARS Tour and Southern Super Series will pay $10,000 to the winner. The Wheel Man Racing Series Sportsman competitors and the Trucks will race on Saturday, May 16. The Modifieds of Mayhem and the Super Late Models will race on Sunday, May 17.
An optional practice day will be available for all teams to take advantage of on Friday, May 15.
