Officials have postponed Friday night’s Blizzard Series / Southern Super Series racing action at Five Flags Speedway (FL) due to time constraints and a poor weather forecast.
Following the final Super Late Model practice session at the Pensacola half-mile, weather rolled into the area and let loose several hours’ worth of showers before officials were forced to make the call.
The Summer Sizzler 75 will now take place next Friday, July 26. The racing program’s new format, which includes three heat races for the Super Late Models, will remain the same.
Fans around the country who were looking forward to watching online will still be able to enjoy live coverage of the event on Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes.
