With rain hitting Greenville-Pickens Speedway and more forecasted to come throughout Saturday afternoon and evening, CARS Tour and Southern Super Series officials postponed Saturday’s Harrison’s Workwear 150 to Sunday, April 11.
None of the planned on-track activity for Saturday’s race took place before the first wave of rain showers arrived at the South Carolina facility. As more rain continued to push through the Greenville, South Carolina area, the decision was made to postpone Saturday’s race by one day.
The green flag will drop on the CARS Tour/Southern Super Series event at Greenville-Pickens Speedway at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Pits will open at 12 p.m. ET Sunday, with a final 30-minute round of practice taking place at 1:00. Qualifying will occur at 2:30 p.m., with cars taking the green flag at 3:30 p.m. As planned, the Super Late Model feature will be 150 laps in distance.
More than 20 Super Late Models are entered for Saturday’s race, including defending Southern Super Series champion Stephen Nasse, back-to-back CARS Tour champion Matt Craig, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitors Chandler Smith and Zane Smith and more.
